I speed, carefully
breaking laws,
unseen, uncaught.
Listen to news,
"chemical weapons ................."
turn knob,
loud songs
kill time.
I sing along.
Each bush - same,
M's holy arches towering holy malls, same.
Teleportation? I wish -
dissolve into space,
recompose
in some exotic place.
Yawn.
Stop.
Silent conversation
about journeying home.
Wise rock smiles.

i love the smiling rock there in the close.. sometimes there's this sense of connection with the elements around us.. traveling alone has its own spell (and challenges) as well..smiles
ReplyDeleteWise rock is a gem - and would have taken my mind travelling far beyond the car. Thank you for starting the trip for me...
ReplyDeleteI speed carefully too, lol. Loved the picture :)

ReplyDeleteLove that smiling Wise Rock. I need to go place my ear to her mouth and seek guidance:)
ReplyDeletelisten to the rocks...they i think have lasted much longer than us...teleportation will only speed up our already out of control pace...and we will miss so much more...
ReplyDeleteI get this one...the drive home alone is a jumble of so many things in my brain...perhaps we should all seek wisdom from the wise rock.
ReplyDeleteTeleport and visit me in Goa, India. Would love to have you. Smiles.
