Hawaii. Hubby took this photo |
I stare. Impolite,
but the ocean doesn’t mind.
It knows
my awe, passion, respect
my admiration...
my vexation.
It's so vast,
full of boundless mystery,
of things I can’t see.
A trickster, it connives
with scenes of tranquil caresses,
yet harbors immense power
that can drown me.
I love it.
In it I see
You.

in it i see you...nice...great closure and turning it on its head...i love the ocean...it is enchanting....and it can def kill you as well...now be careful with whoever you are referring to...i'd like to keep you around...smiles.
ReplyDeleteLovely poem. Was it a sunrise or a sunset? I always try to guess, knowing that if I had taken it, it would have most definitely been a sunset.
