cool leaves of tickling grass. My feet
suddenly swirled towards distant
scenic roads, uncharted routes.
Feet flew over lovely dirt
to dance and frolic in mother's earth,
to travel and discover truths
only few dare to pass.
Awakening, my eyes revealed
my feet still running,
seeking dreamy paths.

Playful carefree spirit with nestled toes squishing in the mud while the spring air warms the earth and scents the air.
ReplyDeleteI just love this poem so much delight, but alas it is too cold and rainy here in the Pacific Northwest makes me yearn for spring.
