Julia Cameron
My friend, Corinne, at Everyday Photographs, posts for this meme, originated by soulemama.com. I thought I'd post for it today too. It requires a single photograph, capturing a moment from the week. "A simple, special, extraordinary moment."
I'm also submitting to Skywatch Friday. My friend Sandy hosts this meme every Friday. I'm posting for fun. Photography is not a strength of mine, though lately I've become more interested.

I spoke to a friend the other day. He said, "people waste so much time on the net blogging. I sure wouldn't want to spend my time like that."
To each his own, right? I enjoy this interaction on this contraption. And I thank all of you for taking the time to read some of my posts.
Hope you all have a great weekend.
Hi Myrna! Congrats on your awards and for joining the photography memes! That is very cool. I love to take pictures, too. I guess having too many interests really isn't a bad thing, is it?! Or I should say, There is no such thing as having too many interests.
ReplyDeleteYour photo is beautiful, by the way. Wishing you a wonderful weekend, too! Hugs...
Lovely photo!
ReplyDeletevery coo pic myrna and congrats on the awards as well... love the Julia Cameron quote..perfect words to go with the photo... i'm enjoying the internet world as well...i think as long as it is in a good balance with the "real" world, it's an enrichment and a well of creativity
ReplyDeletenice pic myrna...you know i have found some pretty amazing friends on here as well these last 3 years...i would ave been one of the others before but...
ReplyDeleteLove that quote and reflect on how my creativity has been challenged in darkness! Sure one can waste time but I think there is also much great connections, ideas shared and goodness that comes. I'm grateful that I have connected with you. I find it a gift!
ReplyDeletelovely landscape. Thanks for sharing :)

You definitely captured an extraordinary moment with this photo!
ReplyDeleteHello Myrna.
ReplyDeleteYou did well with this shot!
I am utterly rubbish with a camera. If I do take a shot, you can guarantee I'll cut your head off or the photo will come out all blurry (LOL)! My wife is the one who likes to take photos & she's good at it too. On the other hand, give me a pen & paper & I can create words of magic (smile).
Myrna, I just wanted to say a big "Thank You" for all your visits & comments this past year. My blog would not be where it is today if it were not for loyal readers like yourself. I'm so happy you have accepted the Award...it's just a small token of my gratitude & thanks for your friendship & support. I hope we will enjoy many more years of friendship & interaction.
Thanks again, my dear.
Have a great weekend!
I am so glad you joined us on this one! Your photos and thoughts are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI think that is a stunning and dramatic sky.;) I have always loved taking pictures, but have become and avid photographer ever since I started to blog.;)
ReplyDeleteI think one has to become a blogger to understand the allure.;)
Sorry for my lack of visits, should be back more regularly next week.;)
Have a great Sunday and congratulations on your awards,
xoxo
