Friends, memes and awards

Julia Cameron

My friend, Corinne, at Everyday Photographs, posts for this meme, originated by soulemama.com. I thought I'd post for it today too. It requires a single photograph, capturing a moment from the week. "A simple, special, extraordinary moment."

I'm also submitting to Skywatch Friday. My friend Sandy hosts this meme every Friday. I'm posting for fun. Photography is not a strength of mine, though lately I've become more interested.

I also want to thank my friends Andy and Laura for thinking of me when they gave out awards.

"...where beauty grows
Inspiring blog award

****
I spoke to a friend the other day. He said, "people waste so much time on the net blogging. I sure wouldn't want to spend my time like that."

To each his own, right? I enjoy this interaction on this contraption. And I thank all of you for taking the time to read some of my posts.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

  1. Hi Myrna! Congrats on your awards and for joining the photography memes! That is very cool. I love to take pictures, too. I guess having too many interests really isn't a bad thing, is it?! Or I should say, There is no such thing as having too many interests.
Your photo is beautiful, by the way. Wishing you a wonderful weekend, too! Hugs...

  4. Love that quote and reflect on how my creativity has been challenged in darkness! Sure one can waste time but I think there is also much great connections, ideas shared and goodness that comes. I'm grateful that I have connected with you. I find it a gift!

  7. Hello Myrna.
You did well with this shot!
I am utterly rubbish with a camera. If I do take a shot, you can guarantee I'll cut your head off or the photo will come out all blurry (LOL)! My wife is the one who likes to take photos & she's good at it too. On the other hand, give me a pen & paper & I can create words of magic (smile).

Myrna, I just wanted to say a big "Thank You" for all your visits & comments this past year. My blog would not be where it is today if it were not for loyal readers like yourself. I'm so happy you have accepted the Award...it's just a small token of my gratitude & thanks for your friendship & support. I hope we will enjoy many more years of friendship & interaction.
    Thanks again, my dear.
    Have a great weekend!

I think one has to become a blogger to understand the allure.;)
Sorry for my lack of visits, should be back more regularly next week.;)
Have a great Sunday and congratulations on your awards,
