Life, who are you?
Waves of light materializing
multicolored quilted fabric,
or symphony of blended tunes
and me the song you play?

Perhaps a phantom apparition,
a movie where I am portrayed
projected on screen eternal
playing roles that entertain.

Master scholars will debate.
But me, I'll just accept
my life as is, a spark in time,
ignited flare, burning within.

As some of you may know (or easily decipher), I'm quite the novice when it comes to poetry. Thanks for reading my humble attempts. I wrote this one in response to a suggested exercise by Brian Miller from One Stop Poetry. We were to listen to music he selected and write what it inspired.
Why don't you give it a try too?
