LOVE

I've been an excavator, a pirate of sorts
Though I never plundered for my treasure
Deeply hidden, disguised, buried under rubble of
Life
It's tricks, lies, joys, sorrows, pleasures
Camouflaging what I thought I sought

But I looked deeply in my heart
There I found
Now I am no longer a seeker

  1. Truly Love seems a trickster, a shapeshifter, until we catch a glimpse of the inner Light!

  2. I love that idea of being an excavator, and love even more that once we look within, we no longer have to go seeking.

  3. It's so peaceful and restful when all 'seeking' comes to an end.

  4. What we all seek in our own way is satisfaction in our lives. Some find it early in their youthful achievements, others by building a nest egg of valuables that they can't take with them yet others, the lucky ones, by living loving lives and leaving a legacy for all.
