YOU ALONE

Who are you?
Is your story a fantasy
imitating life?
Is it written by the fiction
of another's dream?
Or your own conditioned illusions,
delusions of who you
should, would, could
        be?
Forget them.
Search.
Inside you
there's a true story,
an adventure mystery
uniquely unfolding
for you to write,
then read,
then interpret.
.

  1. This is such a wonderfully woven piece. It has a beautifully crisp and stirring effect on the reader. Especially love this part:

    there's a true story,
    an adventure mystery
    uniquely unfolding
    for you to write

Beautifully executed! Thank you so much for participating :D
    Lots of love,

    I wish I knew.

  3. Interesting poem. I don't mind who anyone is , a delusional fantasy apparition etc. If it is a good story...I'm in. Anyway truth is much stranger than fiction. No one ever believe it:)

  4. Nice. I think as we get older we really start to ask those questions. I see the truth in them. Glad it isn't to late to ask.

  5. ...search inside you... yes, that's the truth of each of us, our true life story, no matter what anyone else's perception of you could ever be. Very good :)
