water rushing
luscious earth
luscious earth
pregnant, birthing
green, bugs, animals
green, bugs, animals
loud symphony
mind
silent, empty
nature
precious
precious
mine
not mine,
yours
not yours
priceless

enthralled
( Been gone a while. Was visiting one of my favorite places in the world. I needed nature to recharge my spirit. And it did.)

I love this nature's sounds....they ground us when we get excited...they bring a peace to mind and love to heart....wonderful poem and photo!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a lovely "listen" - beautifully rendered. I thought your choice of very short lines was inspirited, as that is often the way in which we take in and process fragments of nature's blessings, I think.
ReplyDeletesounds like you had a wonderful time myrna - being out in nature always calms me down immediately - love to listen to the birds and the whisper of the stream - the wind..
ReplyDeleteLovely piece, short but vivid thoughts.
ReplyDeleteYes--to experience the both and is like getting to know God and self over again.
ReplyDeleteOh yes! We all need the renewal of nature to sooth and awaken our souls dear one. So glad you got away and at the same time came home.
