THE CHAPEL

My favorite spot on a hiking trail in Northern New Mexico.

I listen
water rushing
luscious earth
pregnant, birthing
green, bugs, animals
loud symphony
mind
silent, empty
nature
precious
mine
not mine,
yours
not yours
priceless
blessings
all
enthralled

( Been gone a while.  Was visiting one of my favorite places in the world.  I needed nature to recharge my spirit.  And it did.)

  19. This sounds like a lovely "listen" - beautifully rendered. I thought your choice of very short lines was inspirited, as that is often the way in which we take in and process fragments of nature's blessings, I think.
