UNPRIDICTABLE STORM

Sometimes,
torrential thoughts fill my mind,
soaking, drenching, softening its ground.
From dark clouds,
thunder so loud.
Fear jolts from its grave,
haunting.
I run towards storm's eye,
but it's blind.

Inevitably, lightening strikes
illuminating,
reminding me
there's still
sun, moon, stars
on the other side
of all that passes.

  1. Great take on this prompt. When the storm hits, it is extremely hard to keep perspective and not get lost in its drama. You capture that well. I like your pic with the eye of the storm.

  16. Myrna,

I think we all have a stormy moment once in a while..Hopefully a short term situation, and without any lasting damage..I like the blindness of the storm's eye..
