(grandson's finger painting) |
Smear blank canvas
your colors,
you,
bright, messy, marvelous wonder.
Touch, caress ,imprint
DNA upon swirls,
of funny swooshes.
Wet your hands, create
paint waves,
or storms,
and face
one-of-a-kind stamp
of dancing happy rainbow
emerging from inner
imbedded essence
of colored choices
for your pick
from infinite palette,
continuously making
you
extraordinary
Your grandson's work and poem are full of love and youthful energy. A masterpiece each!

ReplyDeletefantastic work by your grandson!
ReplyDeleteMyrna,
ReplyDeleteI am so pleased to have found this painting. It is delightful and full of young energy. My fourteen month old grandson drew a few lines across a page last night. It was a moment to cherish!!! Only the beginning of many happy hours of being amazed and amused.
I am sure that this painting must be adorning a wall Myrna.
Hope you are having a lovely summer. We have had so much rain. Welcome, but without much sun.
Best wishes, Eileen
I always think that kids make the best artists, as they are so honest and unrestricted in their creation.;)
ReplyDeleteLovely words too dear Myrna, hope you are having a great week,
xoxo
