no supervision
no adults
immature bliss
recollections surge
dolls and cars
candy and games
friends and food
mental picture frames
joyous mood
"This belongs here."
"No, I want red not blue."
quibble and quarrel
as children do
complete abandon
just fun n'work
no plan nor rule
extravagant display
that serves as fuel
for festive warmth
of season Yule.
job complete
time for repose
a sip of wine
a wrinkled nose
nostalgic glances
all is fine
good little girl
nice young boy
anticipating
merriment, laughter
and glee
happy kids we are
you and me
friends and food
mental picture frames

Sounds very much like two kids having fun. However, are they old enough to imbibe? Fun poem and I really enjoyed it.
