THE DANCE

You dance
non-rhythmic, reverberating clangs
clash against my senses
I wait
mesmerized by wisps, scents
emitted by your chemistry
uncontrollably my mouth turns liquid
with desire, as you dance
I wait
from the heart you create
magic, alchemy enticing
tingling delight
I wait
Finally, no dance
no wait
your artistry culminated
consummation
together we erupt
in ecstasy, the rapture
a meal of love
